The FBI
| The FBI was a crime drama with stories based on real
FBI cases and produced with the endorsement and co-operation of the
Federal Bureau of Investigation. It ran from 1965 to 1974 with 239 episodes.
Pete appeared in two episodes. The first
in October 1965, Slow March up a Steep Hill, was only a minor role but
his second appearance in False Witness was his first major guest
appearance after Love on a Rooftop.

After a bank robbery, a witness identifies Lynn
Hallett (Carol Linley) and she is arrested but then released on
bail. When one of the bank guards later dies from his injuries,
she becomes wanted for murder. Her boyfriend, Mike James (Pete),
persuades her to jump bail and they drive across country to LA where she
refuses to become involved in an armed robbery with him.
